Dragons are creatures with nearly unlimited life spans. They can survive for long periods of time, and no one has found a dragon that has died of old age. Adolescence is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling's wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. Once they hit adolescence, hatchlings change quickly, maturing to their full forms in only 2 years.

Dragons don't communicate with each other verbally, but they will growl to scare off predators and frighten prey. Young dragons will emit an extremely high-pitched squeal when they are frightened. To communicate, they use telepathy with each other and to speak to other creatures.

Magi dragons are, as their name suggests, primarily magic users. They rarely use physical forms of attack. They eat anything they can kill, which is almost everything. They won't kill unprovoked except when hunting, although they may kill humans if in danger. Their strong magic makes them one of the most feared breeds of dragons.

A long time ago, a young Lilim demon happened upon a cave entrance. Strange noises were coming from within. Curious the demon entered the cave. Within was a treasure trove filled with artifacts from every era. The demon looked around she saw odd shaped rocks littered on the ground. One caught her eye atop a pile of treasure she almost missed cause it was near the same color as the treasure.

Lilim decided to take the rock. One morn she heard a crash as she readied for bed. She found a mess of broken items. Sitting atop the mantle was a dragon the color the egg had been. The demon smiled and said, "I shall name you Gold Treasure for you were found on gold and truly are a treasure."

Gold Treasure matured and longed for something but wasn't sure what. The demon let him into the world to find what he yearned for. He searched for many years and eventually found the cave where Lilim had found him. He visit the demon. No matter how old he gets Lilim will always see him as her Gold Treasure.
