Young dragons are relatively defenseless. Their scales don't grow in until right before they mature, and they have almost no strength. Once a hatchling's wings grow in, it marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are usually left alone by their mother and begin to hunt and survive on their own.

In spite of all that her regal name implies, Galacia Amicus Aves is a simple and friendly little dragon. Her personality is well coupled with her small size, as she likes nothing more than to bounce about with the latest hatchlings in the clan. She doesn't care much at all for the garden of other vines, refusing to settle herself amongst the adults while there are new places to explore and discover. This behavior has not made her any friends among her own breed, however she has created a great rapport with many of the other young adult dragons who grew up with her companionship.
