Aww... It's a cute baby dragon. Unlike the other hatchlings, this one hatched with wings.
And look! Its back legs have become a second set of wings! It must be close to maturing.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. Their scales don't grow in until right before they mature, and they have almost no strength. Once a hatchling's wings grow in, it marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are usually left alone by their mother and begin to hunt and survive on their own.

Furyoku is the daughter of Houyoku and Ginyoku.  She is a slight creature whose natural flight ability earned her the name, which means "floating power."  The moniker fits well since despite her small stature, she is quite adept.  As yet, she lacks the natural stamina of her parents and adopted brother.  However, she makes up for that with a goodly dose of speed and the ability to go in fast and get away unscathed.  She spends much of her time with her mother, learning every nuance of all things aerial.  She only leaves the air for fatigue, nightfall, and to bask on the white sands which cup the chain of lakes near the cave.
