Aww... It's a cute baby dragon. Except for the occasional flicker of movement, it remains inanimate.
And look! It's grown its wings! It must be close to maturing.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. Their scales don't grow in until right before they mature, and they have almost no strength. Once a hatchling's wings grow in, it marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are usually left alone by their mother and begin to hunt and survive on their own.

Despite her rather prickly exterior, Fawria is in fact a bit of a teddy-bear. She has inherited all the sociable aspects of her father's personality, and none of her mother's less than friendly quirks. She lives to love. Nobody seeking friendship or just a kind word will ever be turned away by this little creature, whose heart is always brim-full and who asks nothing more of life than to be able to share her inner warmth. Though many originally keep their distance, assuming that she is as hard to approach as the rest of her breed, all are quickly won over by her charm and innocence. No wonder that she is the only one to understand her sister Dainaen and the latter's insecurity issues.
