Holiday dragons are a very mysterious breed. They are only seen during winter, and even then it is hard to catch a glimpse of one. They are responsible for the general cheer that spreads during the holidays. In essence, they are the “Spirits of Winter.”

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

When a pair of gleaming golden eggs were brought to the cave, the other dragons knew to expect something beautiful from them. They were not disappointed- Holly, since the moment she hatched, spent nearly all her time preening her snowy white scales, admiring herself in ponds and any mirrors that could be found. She refused to associate with any dragon who was not as magnificent as she, her companions were only Golds and Silvers.

When Holly's wings grew in, she was ecstatic- she had feared her wings might be dreadfully plain white, or a still-plain solid gold. To find herself with bright green and red among the sparkling gold was a dream come true.

Holly uses her charms to her advantage: she has never hunted in her life, and the only work she does is preening her colorful wings or dancing for others. For all her beauty, she has never had a single deep thought, and she is utterly helpless without others.
