Dragons are creatures with nearly unlimited life spans. They can survive for long periods of time, and no one has found a dragon that has died of old age. Adolescence is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling's wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. Once they hit adolescence, hatchlings change quickly, maturing to their full forms in only 2 years.

Dragons don't communicate with each other verbally, but they will growl to scare off predators and frighten prey. Young dragons will emit an extremely high-pitched squeal when they are frightened. To communicate, they use telepathy with each other and to speak to other creatures.

Silver dragons are arguably one of the most beautiful types of dragons. They live in high altitude habitats such as mountains. Silver females, like most female dragons, eat meat only when a male dragon brings it to them. They possess an almost magical aura that lights up any place they are in, and are looked upon with awe by humans and animals alike.

"The Silver Lady" is a wonderfully eloquent user of words and ideas to portray the views she has on the world around her. She is equally at home with monks who live in mountain monasteries, spending days talking of the ways of Buddha, as she is with her own kind, tending a nest. Not truly able to talk as she does not have the lips for it she takes to writing her thoughts, holding a brush with her tail. She prefers Chinese as it is such a lovely language to write, or French because it is so lovely when spoken, but can also communicate with English as well.

She seeks peace when ever she can, following some of the teachings she has learned. She is vegan, even during the mating season. She refuses anything that had to be took from an animal as food. Her main diet of choice is rice, and edible flowers, though fruits and other luxuries she does allow herself when expecting eggs to ensure they are healthy.
