Aww... It's a cute baby dragon. Although, what's with its eyes?
And look! It's grown its wings! It must be close to maturing.
Young dragons are relatively defenseless. Their scales don't grow in until right before they mature, and they have almost no strength. Once a hatchling's wings grow in, it marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are usually left alone by their mother and begin to hunt and survive on their own.
Dattebayo is a flamboyant little guy. Unlike his intense and somewhat aloof parents, he is gregarious and outgoing. He does enjoy his magic, but he doesn't take it as seriously as his parents or adopted sister. Rather, he has the ability to laugh at himself, and likes to use his innate magical prowess to play pranks on the other dragons. His most recent prank of turning the stalagmite pins during dragon bowling into sticky mud did not go over well with Stonesaver, who was volunteering to be the bowling ball. After a nose-to-nose standoff for a moment or two, Stonesaver grabbed Dattebayo and dunked him in the mud, which broke the tension. The two have since developed a prank rivalry of sorts.
