Aww... It's a cute baby dragon. Ever since it hatched, the sky has been full of very dark clouds.
And look! It's grown its wings! It must be close to maturing. It's learned to use its new wings quickly and you now have a hard time keeping it on the ground.
Young dragons are relatively defenseless. Their scales don't grow in until right before they mature, and they have almost no strength. Once a hatchling's wings grow in, it marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are usually left alone by their mother and begin to hunt and survive on their own.
Surrounded by fog, this young, male frozen hatchling is frightened. Being forced out of the fog, his hiding place, was very scary, as he had lived there his whole life. His parents wouldn't leave him alone, and with no other hatchling to support him, he felt like running deeper. He ran and ran, but it was no use. His parents found him no matter where he went. Out of all the days in his life, this would be the worst. He had to face it. He had to come out. He thought of the positives. Playing with other hatchlings and his parents wouldn't force him out of the fog anymore. But could he do it He closed his eyes, held his breath, and leaped. It didn't even feel like he was out of the fog. he was in an open area, no fog, what had he been scared of Now, this wouldn't be the worst day of his life, it would be the happiest. He was so happy, playing with all his friends, and not being forced by his parents. He was proud of himself.
