This breed of dragon results from eggs or hatchlings that have been neglected. They are usually rebellious, not obeying their masters, sometimes even attacking them. However, their neglect as a hatchling leaves them crippled, and they are weak compared to other breeds, causing them to stay with their masters for protection.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

The sea. From the moment she hatched, the sea has always called to Aros. Sneaking off to the shore in the dead of night, she sits alone on the dunes, eyes closed to the lulling sound of waves breaking on the shore. The only things to distract her from her reverie are the far-off cries of the Deep Sea dragons that swim miles offshore. Hearing them, a tense excitement fills her until she can no longer bear it, causing her to start walking into the surf.

A few yards into the water, she catches herself, reluctantly turns around and with a sad look behind her, heads back for the shore. Her battered body and tattered wings are too weak to withstand the pounding waves and, unable to swim, she knows she would surely drown.

Being unable to answer the call of the Deep Sea dragons and the ocean has made Aros bitter, and she refuses all comfort. Instead, she chooses to spend her days alone on the beach, dreaming of another life under the ocean, a life she can never have.
