Aww... It's a cute baby dragon. Its eyes glow brightly at night, and it enjoys attacking insects and small animals.
And look! It's grown its wings! It must be close to maturing.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. Their scales don't grow in until right before they mature, and they have almost no strength. Once a hatchling's wings grow in, it marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are usually left alone by their mother and begin to hunt and survive on their own.

Sauda is another frozen hatchling of the scroll. She loves to play and bound around with the other hatchlings, but sometimes feels a bit strange. She isn't quite sure why she is diffrent; why she doesn't grow with the others. Sometimes, she feels sad, but then she sees Farvardin and his aches and pains, and realizes how lucky she is, to never be old. Sauda counts her blessings for that, if nothing else.

Sauda tends to be quite wild when she wants to be, and has a fickle heart. Her interests change quickly, and seemingly without reason. Her attention span is rather short, but that is what happens when you never grow older.
