Black Dragons are warriors. They are strong and capable in battles of force, but also ample magic users, capable of devastating opponents with their spells. Their bright eyes give them excellent night vision, which is why they generally hunt during the night.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Christian herman is extremely serious. He is so serious that he can't help but take everything literally, he also doesn't understand sarcasm while he's very good at it himself. Christian also dislikes failure and slacking. Because Christian is the smartest, strongest and most disciplined black dragon in the clan he got the job of teaching young hatchlings the basics of fighting and magic. Every hatchling that had him as a teacher must have had cried once in his lessons. He really tries his best to teach them but he is very intimidating. A simple innocent greeting from him can create a very dead atmosphere. Even his fellow adult clan members that perhaps happen to be very strong themselves find him scary and harsh. Because of his harsh demeanor he has taken some social lessons. There are however some students that still like to study with him because they like the art of fighting too much and can bear his tough teachings. He envies popular dragons.
