Sunset Dragons are closely related to sunrise dragons. However, their behaviors differ greatly. Sunset Dragons generally live alone or in small packs. They are more active in the evening, hunting and performing all of their daily tasks as the sun sets.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Glimmering Twilight is one of the guardians of the cave. He is one of two dragons that scout the outskirts of the caves territory on a 24-hour schedule in search of danger. He is the one that scouts during the night and sleeps during the day. The other dragon scouts during the day and sleeps during the night. Glimmering Twilight is not as stealthy as the other guardian, Arising Sun, but he is more intelligent and charismatic. What he lacks in stealth he makes up for in his go-get-'em attitude and his brilliant traps that rarely fail to catch invaders. Glimmering Twilight rarely lets the other dragons in the cave know when someone is invading. He prefers to take care of the trespassers himself. He is not stupid though and will ask the other dragons in the cave for assistance when he knows he is outmatched.
