Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Loyalty might as well have been this dragon's middle name; he will never back down from a fight if it means protecting a friend, either their being or their honor. Saurian has a fearsome bark that he uses to intimidate would-be enemies, though sometimes he inadvertently scares the dragons he tries to protect. Saurian's wingspan is impressive and his flight capabilities are enviable. He bears a great deal of scars from his many scuffles.
