Well, the chick grew up into a chicken, but you’re still not sure how the egg got into that cave...

Pollyanna is affectionately treated like the pet of the den.<br/>When Mintako was a hatchling, she ventured out of the den one day, and returned gently holding a chicken's egg in her mouth.<br/>The other dragons asked her to put it back where she found it, but Shadow of Mourning decided to let the egg stay and hatch. In her mind, it would be good for the dragons to learn to care for a creature of another, weaker species.<br/>As a baby chick, Pollyanna showed a strong curiosity towards the dragons, and the hatchlings took turns looking after her. As she grew, Pollyanna learned to eat the same foods as the dragons, but preferred to eat plants with the green dragons.<br/>Now that she's an adult, Pollyanna still enjoys hanging out with the hatchlings and trying to compete with them to show off her "dragon skills".<br/>(Though she has yet to master flight, despite her feathery wings.)
