Green Dragons are also sometimes called “earth” dragons. They usually live deep within caves, and have power over the earth. They are capable of launching boulders at high speeds, and can cause earthquakes by slamming down onto the ground.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Ki-Eostre is fond of flowers, and they bloom in profusion all around her cave, all year round. The display is most spectacular in spring, when it looks as though a rainbow had poured its light in rivers on the ground. The fragrance is intoxicating, and spreads for miles, but somehow troubles no one's allergies. At Fudezhengshen's suggestion, she has included paths between the flowers and patches of lush green grass for picnickers, so the beauty of her flowers may be shared with others without having them trampled by the hordes. She herself is a gentle and sociable dragon, prone to some melancholy in winter but easily cheered by the presence of loving friends (her clan, knowing this, takes care to ensure that she is kept busy in pleasant company all winter).
