Stone Dragons have a tough outer covering made of a stone-like material. They eat rocks, using the minerals they contain for nourishment and to keep up their stone outer shell. They rarely move, and are the heaviest of all types of dragons. Although they have wings, indicating flight ability, no one has ever seen a stone dragon flying.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Preferring to live next to a shady waterfall, Aetorphna has a somewhat mossy coating and some snails living on his back. He eats predominantly shale from the streambed, resulting in a striated pattern on his scales. Perhaps because of all the water nearby, he does not get much salt to eat; salt rocks are a favored treat for him.

Aetorphna likes to play tricks on creatures who come to drink near the waterfall. Sitting absolutely still, he blends in with the rocky streambed and waits. Once a creature is drinking, he skips a stone right past their face. When they jump up startled, he startles them further by extending his wings and roaring at them. Usually this results in the creature dashing off while Aetorphna has a good belly laugh.
