Two-Finned Blunas are a very social breed of dragon, living in packs of dragons called “pods.” Blunas are very curious and playful creatures and several dragons in a pod will often “play” with one other, chasing each other around, tossing seaweed back and forth, and riding ocean swells. They are occasionally seen swimming alongside whales and dolphins.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Knevad Deepwings is quite unlike her mate. Whilst Terror prefers solitude, Knevad seeks out company like her life depends on it. She tries desperately to maintain contact with all her offspring, though as her family grows it becomes more difficult. Despite her social nature, she is highly critical of dragons not directly related to her kind—any dragon that can't cross an ocean by air or sea is inferior in her eyes. She harbors a special distaste for the shallow water dragons, as they can neither breach the deeper water nor the higher air.
