Welcome to Dragon Cave! Dragon Cave is an online adoptables game. Collect eggs, raise them to adulthood, and then breed them to create interesting lineages. New dragons are added regularly!
Valentine eggs are only seen once a year. Adults’ mating seasons are very short, usually spanning a few weeks in the mid-to-late winter. These dragons were once reputed to be omens of good luck in love.
Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.
Myvyn finds that love, like a fine wine, gets mellower with age. She believes the beverage is important in forging relationships and has a winery to produce the all-important beverage. Her good friend Fosel teases her about this, asking what it means when Many Santas comes by and has more of a tipple than he perhaps should. Despite all the jokes, Myvyn and Many Santas are no more than friends. Myvyn's winery is relitavely new, but has quickly gained a place in tourism brochures as part of "the taste of Nworset" because of her famous "sherdonnay"—a white wine made with yeasts cultured from an ancient potsherd. Myvyn advertises it as "wine just like Nworset dragons drank two centuries ago" even though Fosel believes the ancient wine was imported based on the style of pottery on the vessel.
