Sunset Dragons are closely related to sunrise dragons. However, their behaviors differ greatly. Sunset Dragons generally live alone or in small packs. They are more active in the evening, hunting and performing all of their daily tasks as the sun sets.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

There is a saying about good intentions, and few prove it truer than One Winged. So named due to a crippling weakness in his left wing, he nonetheless proved himself a warrior of legendary caliber, serving under a group named Shinra and carving their will upon the world with his strength. His actions earned him as many foes as friends, but he always believed in the justness of their cause--until some of his former comrades betrayed Shinra, claiming they had committed great evil. Uncertain and unwilling to kill his companions, he sought the truth of the matter--and found, to his horror, that he had been more created than born. This discovery awakened the demon with whose blood he had been infused, and led him swiftly into the mad belief that he was one of an ancient and powerful race that had been betrayed by humanity. Now seeking to gain enough power to become a god, he performs cruelties with his half brother Masamune to achieve this end, no hint of his once admirable past remaining.
