Silver Dragons are arguably one of the most beautiful types of dragons. They live in high altitude habitats such as mountains. Silver females eat meat only when a male dragon brings it to them as part of courtship, though they are typically highly-independent. They possess an almost magical aura that lights up any place they are in, and are looked upon with awe by humans and animals alike.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Starlight Lucaeda (called Starlight) takes much pride in her beauty as a silver dragon. Because she flaunts so much, however, she annoys the clan's other dragons (even though she can get humans to gawk). She doesn't mind not having the attention of the other dragons, as long as she can get someone to stare.<br/> <br/>As a member of the Lucaeda branch of the clan, Starlight's supposed to help heal the clan's sick ones along with the white dragons and the other dragon of the branch, who is a dark green dragon named Amethyst. However, she's not a very adept healer, and has only learned how to numb wounds. And she needs Amethyst's help for that.
