Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Tick... tock... tick... At the noise of a clock making its quiet noises, Consecotaleophobia will scream his scales off.  Any type of them—grandfather, desk, stopped—makes him shiver to his bones and he falls into a brief spell of paralysis broken by shouts of terror.  None of the dragons are quite sure why he's so terrified of the timekeepers located around the cave, but Consecotaleophobia has managed to stutter out that he once had a bad experience with them.  As obvious as it may seem, the explanation satisfies just about everyone except for the owner.
