Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. Despite being as black as outer space, it has a few bright patterns on it.

And look! It has grown wings and its scales have gained beautiful patterns. It must be close to maturing.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

Pluto doesn't always feel like he belongs with the other hatchlings. This stems from the fact that his prestigious family abandoned him due to his failure to copy the right nebula pattern. For this he was banished from his family's clan.

A nearby dragon tamer, Looti, took him in simply because the fool was feeling a purple vibe. His new master hasn't regretted his decision since. To help him get over his unbecoming loneliness, Looti has had the little Nebula accompany the Tri-Horn Wyvern, Vijan Vincent, in his search across Valkemare for a powerful Shimmerscale. Adventuring in the rocky terrain of Valkemare has proven difficult, but it is the best place to look at his favorite stars.
