This is a baby chick, not a dragon. So what was it doing in the dragons’ cave?

John Spartan is a relic from long-gone violent times. He worked as an officer of the Chick Police Force (CPF). While chasing crime lord Simon Phoenix, he was wrongly accused of dragonslaughter and, along with Phoenix, sentenced to cryogenic prison, a facility where convicts are frozen by Ice Dragons.

Several decades later, Simon Phoenix escaped prison during a parole hearing. In a changed world where violence doesn't occur, the San Angeled Police Department didn't know how to help themselves but to wake up John Spartan and ordering him to apprehend Phoenix.

John Spartan had difficulties to adapt to the modern times. His behavior stamped him as a brute, neanderthalian-like being. His constant swearing brought him into conflict with the law, him being fined five credits for repeated violations of the verbal morality statute. He also doesn't even know how to use the three seashells!

Still—Spartan is the only officer who can arrest Phoenix (maybe except Lenina Huxley). Mellow greetings!
