Magi Dragons are, as their name suggests, primarily magic users. They rarely use physical forms of attack. They eat anything they can kill, which is almost everything. They won’t kill unprovoked except when hunting, although they may kill humans if in danger. Their strong magic makes them one of the most feared breeds of dragons.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Maradja often seems more of a force of nature than a dragon. She has a knack for capturing attention wherever she goes, both because of her eccentric appearance (she drapes herself in flowing cloth and scarves) and her flamboyant, often overbearing personality. It's small wonder that the dragon who serves as both servant and bodyguard for her rarely speaks—he doesn't need to. She's visited all of the traveling weyrs at one time or another, but spends most of her time on Starwander and Starfall in particular, as both Starwander Weyr's captain, Dupaild, and Starfall Weyr's head of security, Arlix, have caught her eye at one time or another. For all that she is frequently hard to get along with, Maradja can be surprisingly gentle and compassionate and has enjoyed great success as an ambassador.
