Moonstone Dragons are named after the orb on their tails, which resembles the gem of the same name. They are nocturnal and gather energy through the absorption of moonlight with their orbs. They seem to glow with a lunar light and are a very gentle breed, feeding off of plants and the moons’ power.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

mADx9 is interested in psychology. Her preference would be to study insanity, but as she doesn't want to be among the mad, she has temporarily taken a job studying confusion instead. She works at a satellite campus of Seven Questions University which is located on a river with lots of hippopotamuses, generally referred to as Hippo Campus. Every year, when a certain gilded bloodscale comes in from the ocean to safely store their latest research on a part of the brain believed to be used in memory of a sea creature with the forequarters of a horse and the rear of a sea monster, there is always a lot of confusion among the freshmen. mADx9 has yet to determine what is so confusing about Hippocampus and Hippocampus researching hippocampus hippocampuses out of Hippo Campus.
