Royal Blue dragons are a nocturnal breed who prefer to live high in the mountains near slow-moving water that reflects the night sky. Although quite capable of defending themselves, they are peaceful by nature and will avoid a fight whenever possible.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Goldmoon is a devoted priestess of H'mglo-Lun. Although the order of the Blood Moon will not accept her as a member since she is neither male nor a Moonstone, Goldmoon never wavers in her devotion to the lunar deity and his mission of bringing peace to dragon kind. If the Brothers of the Blood Moon ever found out about the fact that Goldmoon's prayers get answered in the same way as those of any true cleric they might start rethinking their isolationist politics, but so far Goldmoon keeps that secret to herself waiting for the right time to reveal herself.
