Royal Blue dragons are a nocturnal breed who prefer to live high in the mountains near slow-moving water that reflects the night sky. Although quite capable of defending themselves, they are peaceful by nature and will avoid a fight whenever possible.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Emikon is one of her master (Edeva)'s favorite dragons. She is usually seen at night with Zegiex, as they both like to look at the stars. Emikon, unlike others of her breed, is odd in that where most Royal Blue Dragons like to watch the night sky that is being reflected in placid andor tranquil bodies of water, Emikon instead likes to watch it directly, yet still being near a calm body of water only to listen to it, calming her. At least, that's what Edeva thinks is why she enjoys being by a calm, yet not placid andor tranquil, body of water, since each one of Edeva's favorite dragons oddly takes after their master in some way, and this is what her master enjoys doing as well.
