Blancblack dragons are a two-headed breed known for their hardiness and easygoing nature. They are omnivorous, with the cream head preferring to eat plants and the violet head preferring to eat meat, and can adjust readily to harsh climates. These dragons are sociable—both with other two-headed breeds and with single-headed dragons—and can often be found as adopted members of social dragon colonies. They are often considered symbols of balance and fairness, and likenesses of Blancblacks have been found in ancient ruins associated with law and justice. Females Blancblacks have longer tails than males, which they use as whips when defending a nest from predators.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Two-headed dragons are unique enough to deserve a separate classification from ordinary dragons. They have two necks, two brains, two mouths, but one stomach and one main body. The two heads usually work together, but there are times when they will fight each other, snapping back and forth. Their unique anatomy prevents them from breeding with single-headed dragons.

User Description

Syn and Con are both violinists in the Nworset Orchestra. Con, the pale head, is incredibly shy and lets Syn do most of the talking for the two of them. Syn is quite the talker, too, much to the annoyance of some of the other orchestra members who have to listen to her while they are getting ready for a performance. If you ask, Syn will happily share how Con is the better player of the two, much to Con's embarrassment. The statement is true, though, and the conductor, Ghostly Epic, knows. When a piece requires multiple violin parts, Con often gets assigned the more complicated one while Syn has the simpler one. Con keeps worrying that her bodymate will feel like she isn't getting any respect, but Syn doesn't mind. She is happy to play second fiddle.
