Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. Its eyes glow brightly at night, and it enjoys attacking insects and small animals.

And look! It has grown wings! It must be close to maturing.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

Hombre Nino may be a frozen hatchling, but he believes he is a MAN in capital letters! He staggers about and acts like the perfect model of masculinity. Anyone that dares question his manhood or mention his permanent childish stature will get the fury of a lifetime. Hombre Nino developed his strange obsession with being manly from observing the older male dragons in the cave. His obsession has gone so far he believes he is the manliest man on earth. He walks around with an arrogant swagger and is always ready to fight to prove his manliness. He may look like a child, but inside he is a tough, burly MAN! Because of his strange ways, he has earned himself the affectionate nickname Man Child among the other dragons; although, they don't dare call him that while he is around. He would take it as an affront to his manhood.
