Welcome to Dragon Cave! Dragon Cave is an online adoptables game. Collect eggs, raise them to adulthood, and then breed them to create interesting lineages. New dragons are added regularly!
This breed of dragon was thought to exist only in legend. Although their name varies between cultures, they are often referred to as “Guardians of Nature.” They are able to channel the forces of fire, ice and lightning, which allows them to wield tremendous power. Seen very rarely, it is thought that they only become active when something is threatening the territory they have chosen to guard. In order to protect their chosen home, these dragons are incredibly adaptable; they have been seen everywhere from remote mountain ranges, to ancient forests, to the darkest depths of the ocean.
Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.
Guardian's Reprise is the successor to the previous Guardian of the clan. Shortly before Reprise's summoning, Sock-the-dragon suffered a terrible identity crisis and began rapidly deteriorating. She had spent her life disregarding the human caretaker's insistence that she would be the first GoN to reproduce asexually. Of course that would never happen, she thought. But then it was discovered that GoNs COULD breed with other dragons and Sock-the-dragon began questioning herself and reality, as this new ability defied everything she had believed before. The human admitted her prophecy may have been a bit inaccurate, and Sock-the-dragon was removed from her position as Guardian once her reasoning diminished.
Reprise was quickly summoned as a replacement, and took up the mantle of Guardianship despite her youth. She has great sympathy for Sock-the-dragon, and spends much of her free time reading to the elder. She does her best at her duty, and is fiercely loyal to her beloved clanmates.
