Feisty and energetic, Whiptail Dragons pride themselves on their speed and agility. It is not unusual to see several whiptails racing each other. Though fragile, they can easily evade attacks with their superior speed, and often use their long tails as a weapon, giving rise to their name.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Fletami is a fast, agile creature with a mean streak. She is feisty, independent, proud, and generally very shrewd. She serves as a runner, or messenger, for her Khal Zeroun. Any time a message needs carrying from some dragon in their Khalasaar (tribe) to another, Fletami is usually the one sent. She has a strong sense of duty when it comes to her job, and is extremely prideful of her speed and place of importance in the tribe. Her mate is another Whiptail dragon, Rodenmo, who also serves as a runner for the Khal.
