Feisty and energetic, Whiptail Dragons pride themselves on their speed and agility. It is not unusual to see several whiptails racing each other. Though fragile, they can easily evade attacks with their superior speed, and often use their long tails as a weapon, giving rise to their name.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Like all whiptail dragons, this one is soft-scaled, lightning fast, and agile to boot. He holds the trademark muddy brown scales of his breed, with a strip of blue spots along his back, piercing yellow eyes, and a long, strong tail. "Ember" is the name he has come to respond to. Ember holds the typical energetic and eager nature that is expected of whiptail dragons but appears to shy away from heights. This seems to have stunted the growth of muscles in his wings that are usually well-developed by his age. Ember also seems to have decided himself to be the caretaker of eggs abandoned and left in nearby nests; he refuses to leave them alone and becomes irritable, though not aggressive, when humans or dragons besides himself, Kegan, and Luna come close to them or touch them. Strangely, he seems uninterested in the hatchlings that emerge from the eggs, only interacting with them if they approach him first.
