Lumina Dragons received their names from their highly reflective scales, which—at times—seem to glow. They are vain, always strutting about and preening incessantly; if one of their scales has so much as a scratch or a defect, they’ll remove it. Luckily, their scales grow back quickly, and each new growth is more beautiful than the last. These narcissistic dragons live in small groups and prefer to surround themselves with beauty. The females guard their territory and eggs while the males search for vegetation to eat.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Luminor once dwelt in what he believed to be the most beautiful place in the world--- a misty mountain that towered so high one could see the horizon curving ever so slightly from its peak. From that vantage point Luminor felt as if he were the ruler of the world; even the clouds bowed before him. A tribe of humans living along the mountain's base only reinforced this thinking, seeing the clan of beautiful creatures who lived among the clouds as angels. In order to please the heavenly beings, they gave the dragons what humble treasures they had. But their small yet meaningful tributes weren't enough for the vain dragons, who eventually abandoned their mountain home in search of subjects who would treat them as the gods they had come to see themselves as. Luminor alone stayed. He loves the breathtaking view from the peaks; not even his vanity could tear him away. Whenever his thoughts begin to wander to the clan he lost, he looks across the mountain range and remembers why he stayed.
