White Dragons are pacifists and specialize in extremely strong healing magic. The only limit of this magic is that it can’t bring back the dead. They only eat plants and never kill living things.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Opaliestrus MoonGlow (after the gemstone: Opal) became the ninth dragon to join the clan cave. The Clan Mother had heard stories that the mystic powers of White dragons might provide the clan with a gift of health and wellness. After long hours of contemplation, and more than a few conversations with the elder dragons, she set out on a quest to find Opaliestrus. With deep, enchantingly blue eyes, and shimmering, bright white scales, Opaliestrus brings an unparalleled pureness and radiance to the clan. She is the embodiment of peace and serenity, and dislikes the eating habits of most of her clan kin, although she understands and accepts the necessity of the cycle of eat or be eaten! Her favorite delicacy happens but once each year, when Dumortytus returns from the dark depths of the ocean bottom with a bundle of deep sea greenery.
