Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

Every Monday, "delicious" scents of food can be smelled at Hazel360's Cave. Responsible for the awful cooking is none other than Cosmopolitan Greek Salad. Because of its superstitions, Cosmopolitan Greek Salad enjoys experimenting with new flavors and cooking techniques on the first day of the week. To top it off, it obliges the other hatchlings to taste its food. The ones that survive the consumption of Salad's culinary disasters often lose their sanity. Some of the victims have invented a "goat" gender and spread their beliefs to the other dragons. Rumor has it that Salad is in the Cave's mafia, and has conspired, along with The Martin Clunes Conspiracy to overthrow Skylar Thunderstorm (the Cave's leader). Nobody knows whether this is an old dragon's tale or not, but one thing's for sure: Cosmopolitan Greek Salad's dishes must be avoided at all costs.
