When Water Dragons mature, they lose the ability to survive on land, entering the water permanently. They are adept swimmers and eat whatever fish are in the lake they live in. They tend to inhabit the same lake for their entire lives, although a few live in the ocean and swim all over the world.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Bliss Miss is the brilliant Alphess of Aluenda Terria, she rules with adopted sibling, Indigo Grasp. She is mates with Fall Free, a noble, and wants to have many off springs. Her parents are unknown, but she was raised up with other orphans; Winter Glimpse and Fall Free. As a young dragon she became vastly interested in scrolls left behind by the humans who once owned the lands. She can read the human language, but cannot speak it. Aluenda terria is a huge valley surrounded by cave-like mountains, with a deep lake in the middle. Bliss' home is in Aluenda Lake in the long, twisted seaweed. She has rather small black eyes for her kind, and her scales are hued with a vibrant blue. She enjoys telling stories and tutoring young hatchlings on the human script.
