Feisty and energetic, Whiptail Dragons pride themselves on their speed and agility. It is not unusual to see several whiptails racing each other. Though fragile, they can easily evade attacks with their superior speed, and often use their long tails as a weapon, giving rise to their name.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

He grew up in an orphanage, and never knew his parents. All through his hatchling-hood he dreamed of a better, more exciting life, so when he grew up, he turned to thievery and actually was quite good at it until one fateful day, he happened to hide from the law in the wrong cave. Inside he found a lonely, young Purple she-dragon who wished to leave the place she was being held captive and see the world. The two managed to escape the claws of the Hellfire guarding her, because as it turned out, the Purple was a missing Princess of a nearby kingdom. The witch managed to give him a near fatal wound, but the princess used the last of her strange magic to heal him and banish the Hellfire to the shadows. They eventually fell in love, and lived happily ever after.
