Antarean Dragons are peaceful creatures shrouded in mystery. They are primarily found in the desert where they get most of their energy from sunbathing. Their most notable traits are their highly reflective manes and the mysterious light emitted by their scales which fades from bright, nearly blinding yellow-white into dim red as the dragons get older. Legend claims that they are otherworldly beings that came to this world when a meteor struck.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Loxiris is a fairly lazy dragon. He spends most of his time sitting around watching his frenetic mate try to convince everyone else that she is not a chicken, and singing to himself quietly. His favorite song to sing has the refrain "fly me from this coop and let me peck among the stars..."; others he often sings have titles such as 'I Wanna Peck and Scratch all Night' or 'If I had a Mealworm'.

When asked if he is a chicken, Lox occasionally responds by saying he is smoked fish, sometimes he declares himself a type of flower, but usually he responds: "Of course I'm not a chicken, the space-magic from the meteorite changed that." He then goes on to explain that because he is no longer a chicken, he doesn't need to go to space. There is much debate about whether he actually believes he used to be a chicken.
