Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. Despite being as black as outer space, it has a few bright patterns on it.

And look! It has grown wings and its scales have gained beautiful patterns. It must be close to maturing.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

An energetic and mischievous hatchling, GGs' Potts is ironically the so-called mascot of the GGs Clan. The reason for this is ironic is that Potts' father is Hayashi, one of the leaders of the Rokaku Clan and one who despises the Rudie dragons, especially the GGs.

Potts originally had dreams of being a theater dragon, however those were dashed when he got into an altercation with a clan of Hellfire dragons. One of the dragons cast a spell on Potts to cause him to be a hatchling for all of his remaining life. Before the Hellfires got the chance to kill Potts, a certain distrustful Guardian dragon saved him from near-certain death—YoYo of the GGs clan. After Jazz had healed the two, Potts decided to stay with the clan that saved him and soon became a beloved part of said clan.

Whenever he isn't causing havoc with the rest of the GGs clan, Potts can be found taking a nap, listening to music, playing with the other hatchlings, or talking with Professor K.
