Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. It perfectly depicts spring weather.

And look! It has grown wings! It must be close to maturing.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

Despite her small stature, Senkeizakura has a big dream: to one day create a sakura (cherry blossom) forest, one fit for "picnics, sake drinking and, most importantly, sakura viewing," as she describes it. To this end, she has enlisted the help of 'The Pebble Siblings' (currently Jaspillite, Argillite and Dolerite), the earth dragons, the seasonal dragons of Spring, and even Gotheric, the latter for his theoretical knowledge of gardening. This single-minded dedication to her dream has generated a great deal of respect from the other dragons; they therefore generally don't mind aiding 'The Little Spring One' in her efforts when she requests for help, something Senkeizakura is very grateful for.
