Vampire Dragons are members of the undead. They sustain themselves by drinking the blood of others. It is said that they are only “alive” at night, and seem dead or asleep during the day, as they cannot endure sunlight for long periods of time. Vampire Dragons can only reproduce by changing the eggs of other dragons, puncturing the shell with their fangs and injecting venom that kills the baby inside.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

If pressed, Narayan Steele would consider himself something of an accountant; perhaps an ambassador. One might presume the leader of the Immolator clan of vampires to jest with such statements, but in truth he's an earnest believer in that leadership is an act of subservience, not of dominance. It's that point of view that makes him the true centrepiece of the clan, of course, and gives him his reach—it's Narayan the others come to in trust, not his co-leader and brother, Mercurian.

Keeping relations to other clans or families in strict neutrality, Narayan is renowned for a way with diplomatic words. However, despite his caution with strangers, some acquaintances might discover his vibrant mischievous streak, often when they least expect it—though should they take any genuine harm, he'd hardly forgive himself.

Pure pacifist that he is, Narayan's most chilling moments are those in which he merely steps back, choosing not to intervene in his brother's feral cruelty.
