Water Walkers are small dragons that are frequently found around bogs and ponds. While they are flightless, they retain the flight sacs and hollow bones of their airborne cousins. These traits, coupled with their extraordinarily long, webbed toes, allow them to stand on top of calm waters, using their small sails to propel them wherever they please. They spend the majority of their lives on the water, retreating to the tops of lily pads when the waters become too rough to float atop.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Elosh is a rather lazy and contented dragon. He tends to spend weeks on end simply resting on the rocks of one of his master's large ponds. Occasionally, he will awaken and expend a bit of energy to catch fish or water-fowl that visit the pond, but he'll mostly stick to the vegetation near his place of relaxation. It is no small wonder that any that see him assume that he is a mere statue or fixture to enhance the atmosphere. A few of the younger dragons have tried to convince him into games, but with no success. He still has yet to even speak to anyone and no one knows if he is even capable of speech. This irritates a couple of them (especially Covella), but most have learned to accept it and just leave him alone. Still, his owner wishes he would be a bit more active now and then, for Elosh's sake.
