Skysilk Dragons spend their days drifting through the heavens, their voluminous manes billowing like clouds. Imbued with air mana, their fluffy fur is incredibly lightweight—so much so that it defies gravity, taking on a mind of its own as it puffs upward. This property makes them quite popular among avian species—birds flock together for the opportunity to play among a Skysilk’s fleecy crown. Docile and patient, Skysilks are quite tolerant of this treatment, with hatchlings in particular developing tight-knit friendships with their feathered visitors. Interestingly, their lustrous scales always retain their dull gleam, despite the frequent presence of tiny critters.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

KimTheNurse is a Skysilk dragon who just wants to help. She seeks out injured birds and nurses them back to health. When she was just a hatchling, one of her birdie friends was injured by a cat, but luckily KimTheNurse was there to save him. Her owner, a human wizard, taught the little hatchling how to clean up the wounds and help them heal. When her little bird friend healed up and flew again was one of the happiest days of her life! She was overjoyed that she had truly saved a life and everything was finally all better! From that day on, KimTheNurse searched high and low for injured birds to save, and her human owner helped with the tougher cases at first. The Skysilk dragon also sought out other healers to learn from. Now she is the very best at healing birds, and humans bring pet birds to her when they are sick. She only takes payment in food for all the birds.
