Guardian Dragons have large shields on the end of their tails. Although the shields appear to be heavy, they are light, yet nearly unbreakable. Guardian Dragons use their tail-shields, as well as their wings, to deflect attacks and protect others. Often, they will guard the eggs and hatchlings of a nest while others are away. They are generally peaceful, and will not retaliate unless necessary. They have no need to forage or hunt, as they are fed by those they protect.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Tatsuya is a crippled dragon of the Fang Tribe due to a transformation of her body when she was a child, which changed her from a human into a dragon. Her original identity as a human is hidden from the rest of her clan, for they fear humans. On the night of her marriage, the tribe's elder told a story of a mythical armor, and the one who finds it decides whether the dragon race is to survive or the human race.

Tatsuya unexpectedly finds the armor, which actually reacts like cornstarch and water. Not wanting to be the to savior of her tribe, she runs away. She then comes across the Chinese, who welcome and praise her, which was not what her tribe taught her about humans. When she returns home, the elder tells her that the legend of the armor was made up, but says that Tatsuya could make it come true by proving both humans and dragons could survive as one. Tatsuya now tries to convince the tribe that not all humans will hurt them, and she dreams that they could live on without fear.
