Silver Dragons are arguably one of the most beautiful types of dragons. They live in high altitude habitats such as mountains. Male Silvers hunt and eat meat. While not as beautiful or radiant as females, silver males possess better physical attributes, such as strength.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Daxius knew from the beginning that he was different than the other dragons within the cave. His scales held a metallic quality and they served as a light source that would cut through darkness like a knife. The other dragons admired his beauty, but he despised the attention. Over time, his temper became worse and he alienated himself from the other dragons through aggression. As an adult, he became a fierce yet majestic dragon. He keeps to himself most of the time and commands a great deal of respect from any who wish to interact with him. The only dragon to ever see his soft side is his skywing mate, Skyanirae. He prefers to spend time with her upon the nearby mountains, where earth touches sky.
