Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. It’s very festively colored.

And look! It has grown wings! It must be close to maturing.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

Gerin Ridda White-Wings is Fuera's little "sister" and is referred to as so by most dragons, even though they are technically not related at all. Ridda (her nickname) loves playing with her "sister" in the snow on clear, cold, sunny winter mornings. The frozen hatchling also enjoys taking small trips with Lightningstreak and a few other hatchlings around the area surrounding their home. Ridda doesn't like Starkit, the infamous magi hatchling, however, despite Starkit always acting sweet as honey around her and Fuera. The snow angel hatchling knows what Starkit gets up to with Icy Ambition, another frozen hatchling on Starkit's side. Even so, Ridda always acts polite and somewhat kind around the two, if only because if she didn't, she would surely be a victim of some of of Starkit's pranks and tricks.
