Thunder Dragons are the masters of electricity. Their wings gather energy as they soar through the clouds, and when they clap their wings together they can create devastating arcs of lightning. They can stay airborne nearly indefinitely, landing only to sleep and breed; they catch their prey from the air and take moisture from the clouds. A thunder dragon’s roar is considered to be an omen of misfortune.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Qorwynn takes his role as a legend seriously. He is a proud descendant of a long and powerful lineage and is determined to keep the ancient traditions and rituals of his kin. A long time ago, when humans wore animal pelts and barely discovered fire, thunder dragons were worshipped as godlike creatures. Any person who was struck by lightning on their head and survived was considered to have received the blessing of the thunder god and was honored for his entire life.

In these dark, decadent days, Qorwynn's mission is made difficult by the silly, unjustified fear of his roar and supernatural powers. He is outraged by the loss of faith and cries over the fall of the people's belief in his kin's power. However, he considers it's his duty to show mercy to these poor, ignorant creatures and often strikes humans with thunderbolts on their heads, to bring the favor and luck of gods upon them.
