Gold dragons are the ones most often killed by humans, who consider their scales to be extremely valuable. These golden scales grant them a high level of protection, similar to armor, and they use this to their advantage in battle.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Golden Robin is much smaller than other dragons of her kind. She spends most of her time gliding through the air and practicing complicated flight maneuvers. Being the daughter of a Shadow Walker, she is also very good at stalking and hiding, becoming nearly one with her surroundings. Because of her fiercely protective nature and her stealth, she has been appointed as Guardian of the Clan. Although this job is a great honor to her, it is also a burden that has made her into a rather quiet and lonely warrior. She stays in good spirit however, enjoying her days as Guardian and waiting for a time when someone notices that she is also a kind and playful female.
