Ochredrakes are a curious species with a wide array of mutations and interesting behaviors. Not as intelligent as normal dragons, they only breed with other drake species. While they may not be bright, ochredrakes are flamboyant and fun-loving with amazing, chirping voices to sing with, and tame readily in the presence of a gentle hand.

Though it may appear at first that dragons and drakes have much in common, the two are completely separate species. Drakes are smaller and less intelligent than their cousin species, though both dragons and drakes sit comfortably near the top of the food chain. They are always found bearing antlers and leathery wings. Drakes share many of the same habitats that dragons do, and typically hunt in packs.

Everyone thought that drakes were stupid. It was an obvious fact. Drake knew he wasn't the smartest, but that didn't matter to him. What did intelligence matter when it meant you had to constantly judge and analyze everything. Free-spirited and fun-loving as he was Drake spent most of his time flying and playing with other Dragons. He was almost dog-like when it came to his endless energy and loyalty to his friends. Why live life if it was boring He would play all day and at nightfall he would sing one last joyful melody to the sun before settling down. His dreams were full of boundless soaring among the stars. He couldn't ask for a better life.
