Gold dragons are the ones most often killed by humans, who consider their scales to be extremely valuable. These golden scales grant them a high level of protection, similar to armor, and they use this to their advantage in battle.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Drilia has always had a passion for flying, pushing herself to see how fast she could fly or how elaborate she could make her aeronautic maneuvers. She also enjoyed spending time in the hatchling nursery and helping to look after the younger dragons, even after all the other hatchlings of her age had stopped playing in the nursery. She was somewhat of a celebrity among the younger hatchlings, who were awed by her flying skills, and also admired by their parents, who were also impressed by both her flying and the way she handled the hatchlings. When a red dragon hatchling who was about her age, Kyialer, began coming to the nursery, Drilia was glad to have some help in minding the younger hatchlings and was even more ecstatic to find out that he shared her interest in flying. Drilia and Kyialer began spending a lot of their time flying together, and as they realized how compatible their personalities were it was only natural that, as adults, they became mates.
